meet your coach

Coach Wylie has been a youth sports advocate for nearly three decades, going all the way back to the late '90s when he was first asked to help coach his youngest sister's Pop Warner football team in New Hampshire. After two seasons there, he continued coaching youth football in South Boston and, more recently, in McLean, Virginia.

In 2022, he found his way to the diamond when his daughter Piper joined her 8U AGSL softball team. He has supported her teams and coaches in all kinds of roles ever since, from cheering in the stands to running drills at practice. Somewhere along the way, softball became more than just his daughter's sport. It became his too.

Coach Wylie is a firm believer in the power of team sports, and softball especially, to build confidence, grit, and character in young girls. He loves watching that moment when a player finally connects on a swing she has been working on, or turns a play she could not make a season ago. Helping girls grow both as athletes and as teammates is what keeps him coming back to the field, and he is excited to lead the growth and development of the 12U Loudoun Force team this upcoming season.

Off the field, Wylie lives in Ashburn with his wife Elissa and their daughter Piper.
